PPCC 2026: Bringing AI and your business processes together

Every enterprise runs on business processes. Applications hold the data, permissions, and rules. Workflows move information and decisions from one step to the next. People provide judgment, manage exceptions, and often connect systems that were never designed to work together.

These are the questions we’ll tackle at the fifth annual Power Platform Community Conference (PPCC), taking place October 27–29, 2026 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. PPCC brings together business experts, developers, solution builders, admins, and leaders to learn how Microsoft Copilot, Work IQ, agents, apps, workflows, and data can improve the processes that run your organization, ensure they are governable and secure, and optimize them with effective AI cost management.

You’ll also learn how leading organizations are putting these ideas into practice. The NFL, for example, recently modernized game-day operations with an AI-powered Game Ops Dashboard built using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Power Platform. By standardizing incident reporting and supporting long-term operational learning, the solution creates a more consistent, data-driven approach to stadium operations. This is just one example of how connected systems and process expertise can turn a specific operational challenge into broader business value.

Expand what you can build

The tools available to solve business problems are becoming more powerful and more connected. That creates an opportunity to improve an entire process rather than focusing on one siloed tool or adding AI to a single step.

Consider a procurement process. An employee starts with a request in Copilot. An agent gathers the relevant supplier information and purchasing policies. The application applies the appropriate data model, permissions, and approval rules. A workflow routes the request and handles routine steps. Higher-risk exceptions go to the right person for review.

Building this type of AI solution requires a broad set of skills. Business experts understand where the process breaks down. Developers and solution builders connect systems and create new experiences. Admins establish the controls required to operate responsibly. Together, they can determine where automation is enough, where agent reasoning adds value, and where people need to remain in control.
